While Jason starts to tell Carly about Michael's plan with the cops, Sonny helps Michael out of the car before it explodes! At the hospital, Julian catches Lucas when gets out of surgery, and tell him to check his messages which he does, learning he's a father. Brad is sitting in his car, devestated over the death of their baby, when Nelle jumps out of nowhere.

Jason tells Carly that Chase was the cop that investigated the death of Nelle's first fiance, and that he and Michael came up with plan to trap Nelle. Meanwhile, Brad finds Nelle, and her baby on the road, and tries to help them.

Chase finds Sonny and Michael, and they compare notes to figure out where Nelle is, and what happened. Nelle spins a tale about what happened with the car crash, and how the baby was born. She notices Brad sad, and keep glances at the backseat.

Chase, Sonny, and Michael talk out what happens next, and when Chase gets a call about someone breaking Carly out of Ferncliff.

Brad tells how his and Lucas's baby died, and Nelle comes up with a plan to switch the babies.

Jason and Carly talk about what they're going to do, when Sonny arrives. Lucas comes home to see his husband, and new son, while Nelle is found on the road by the police. Sonny tells Carly, and Jason about the car crash. At the hospital, Michael finds Nelle holding a still bundle, and Brad gives Lucas a breathing baby.
