Aftermath of Nurses Ball 2020 Crisis

This year, due to pandemic, GH made the Nurses Ball an inspiration, a tele-a-thon, supporting the front-line workers, and their families, who work tirelessly to help others. While the theme was different from those in the past, the nature of the Ball stayed the same.

There was also a calamity as well, the climax involving little baby boy, Wiley Corinthos. After losing custody in court, Wiley’s birth mother, Nelle Benson Jerome, took advantage of the ball, to arrange for Wiley to be snatched from the Quartermaine Mansion, and brought to her so she could run away with him. Brooklyn Quatermaine overheard Nelle’s plans, and while attempting to stop her, Nelle slashed at her, cutting her throat. Brooklyn survived, and was taken to GH.

Michael Corinthos, and Willow (formerly Tait), came home early to find Monica had been knocked out with chloroform, and Wiley was missing. Michael called 911, and then his mother, Carly Corinthos. Everyone scrambled to find Nelle and Wiley. After learning what happened to Brooklyn, the family went to check on her, and she was able to tell Michael that Nelle had a tracker on Wiley. Using Nelle’s phone, that she dropped, Michael found where Nelle was.

After arriving at the location, Michael entered the cabin cautiously, until Nelle hit him over the head. After the arguing with Nelle, Michael found his son in one of the bedrooms, and stayed with until help arrived. Carly, and Jasper Jax, her ex and friend, showed up. Worried that Nelle would get away before the police showed up, Carly went after her.

Carly found Nelle and tried to talk her into giving herself up. When Nelle refused, the two women got into an altercation, and Nelle ran away. As Carly got her bearings, she heard Nelle cry out, and she soon found dangling from the cliff. Carly tried to help pull her up, Nelle fell, and Carly was shocked until Jax found her. Worried that the police wouldn’t believe her, or want to prosecute based on her husband, Jax insisted they not tell everything that happened with Nelle.

Now, days later, Carly fills Jason Morgan, her best friend, and Sonny, her husband, on what happed that night. Nelle’s body has been found but is there more going on. Is there anything that can tie Carly to what happened, or does Nelle have one more twisted trick going on?
